Common to Produce Adaptation of Zora Neale Hurston’s Book

Common is teaming up with Lionsgate to produce a limited-series adaptation of Zora Neale Hurston’s recently published book Barracoon: The Story of the Last Black Cargo.

Common and Lionsgate already have an adaptation of B.P. Reuter’s 1977 book, Saturday Night Knife and Gun Club in the works.
