Tiffany Haddish has been receiving a lot of backlash about her bombed New Years Eve performance in Miami in which the show was supposedly so bad that fans booed Haddish, as well as even some walking out of the show before it was over. Shortly after the show, Haddish was quick to apologize to fans but also insisted that she had prayed on the situation and was almost assured it would never happen again. More recently, Haddish spoke out about the situation again in an interview with Shadow & Act. Haddish explained, “I’m going to make mistakes. I’m a human being, I’m not perfect and I never sold myself as being perfect.” “I never came out like, ‘I’m the most dopest, most wonderful.’
Haddish went on to state:
“You’ll never hear me say I’m the funniest person alive; you’ll never hear me say any of those things because I know there’s always somebody better. I’m always going to be learning, I’m always going to be growing and every human should think that way.”
