Regina King and Dana Dane are working on a Cindefella movie

At this year’s 2019 Oscars, Regina King took home the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the amazing film ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’. King’s award seemed long overdue to some, but nonetheless, was the perfect example of when hard work pays off. Although, the Oscars is an actor/actresses biggest aspiration, ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’ proved more than worthy at the 34th Annual Film Independent Spirit Awards.

The film took won not one, not two, but three awards — Best Supporting Female for Regina King’s performance, Best Director for Barry Jenkins, and Best Feature, the biggest award the night had to offer. Congratulations to the entire team who worked on this prestigious film.
