Janet Jackson paid the ultimate tribute to her late father Joe Jackson as she closed out the Essence Festival last night in New Orleans.
“Without his drive, his strength, we wouldn’t have the success. We are a black family from Gary, Indiana and we broke records around the globe,” Jackson said in front of the crowd at the Superdome.
