Xscape is making their fans extremely happy with the news that the group will do one more album together!
The news actually came from Khandi Burruss’ mother Mama Joyce as the group was being honored at 2019 Black Music Honors.
“They still have one album left,” Mama Joyce told their fans at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.“The four of them, they started in my basement and I feel that they still have another album in them.”
Mama Joyce’s news caught the members of Xscape (Khandi, Tiny Harris, LaTocha Scott and Tamika Scott) by surprise, but they didn’t deny what she said.
“Obviously she put us on the spot but, I mean,” Burruss told Atlanta Black Star after the award show. . “I guess we gon’ grant her her wish. I didn’t know what to say but at the same time, she put it out there, my group members are here … we gon’ make it happen … we gon’ figure it out.”
And Tiny echoed Khandi’s sentiments.
“Yeah, when everybody schedule get together we gon’ get in that studio” she said.
