Arlington Church to Host A Conversation on Youth Gun Violence

Cornerstone Church in Arlington will host “Faith & Blue” Community Conversations Part 1: Integrating Faith and Preventing Youth Gun Violence.

“We actually planned this event two months ago, not knowing that the conversation will now have a fresher tone in light of the shooting at Timberview High School”, said Veronica Griffith, Director of Communications and Special Events at Cornerstone Church.

“Faith & Blue” will feature a panel including Arlington Police Chief Al Jones, Arlington ISD Assistant Superintendent Dr. Michael Hill, and other community leaders.

The event which happens Sunday, October 10th at 4:30 p.m. is FREE and open to the public.

Cornerstone Church is located at 5415 Matlock Rd in Arlington.
