Wendy Williams is taking an extended leave from her talk show due to serious complications from her thyroid condition and Graves’ Disease.
A statement posted to her Instagram page stated that Williams continues to be under medical supervision and that more time is needed before she is able to return to live hosting duties.
It was also stated that The Wendy Williams Show will start airing new episodes on Monday, October 18th with a lineup of guest hosts which will be announced soon.
