Season 2 of “Empire” is shaping up to be pretty good! Adam Rodriguez has signed on to play Cookie’s love interest, and this will actually be a reunion for Rodriguez and Taraji P. Henson who starred together in Tyler Perry’s “I Can Do Bad All By Myself.”
This will be a very interesting story line because according to producers, Rodriguez’s character will be one of two love interests for Cookie! It’s not known yet who the other dude will be, last season it was Derek Luke so we’ll just have wait and see if he returns.
Season 2 of “Empire” premieres September 23rd.
