Eric JohnsonFaith Evans has unveiled the lyric video for her single, “NYC,” featuring vocals from Jadakiss. The track comes from Faith’s long-awaited duets album with the late Notorious B.I.G., titled The King & I.
The visual shows images of iconic skyscrapers, subway cars and the bustling streets of New York City, with an appearance from Jadakiss himself. “NYC” and another track, “When We Party,” featuring Snoop Dogg, were the first singles released from the album.
Both are available to stream and purchase via the usual digital platforms.
The King & I is set to drop two days before Notorious B.I.G.’s birthday — May 19 — and is available to pre-order now. The studio project will include rare and unreleased vocals by the legendary rapper, along with guest appearances from Busta Rhymes; Lil’ Cease; 112; Lil’ Kim; Sheek Louch; Jadakiss; Snoop Dogg and Styles P.
Others on the album include actor Jamal Woolard, who portrayed Biggie in Notorious, the biopic based on his life and career; and Biggie’s mother, Voletta Wallace, known as “Mama Wallace.”
