She’ll show her appreciation for Terria Joseph, who raised her as a single mother, on VH1’s first-ever Dear Mama special. The mother-daughter duo previously co-starred together on Fox’s Empire.
Alessia Cara will also be taking part in the special. She’ll perform her latest single, “Wild Things,” as a tribute to her mom, Enza Caracciolo.
Dear Mama will be taped on Tuesday, May 3 at St. Bart’s Church in New York. It airs Mother’s Day — Sunday, May 8 — at 9 p.m. ET/PT on VH1.
