Record industry legend Clive Davis, actor Tyler Perry and Empire creator Lee Daniels will be on hand at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in New York City to honor the Queen of Soul.
The list of attendees also will include political luminaries Congressman John Lewis, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Judge Sheila Johnson, and philanthropist Adrienne Arsht.
Franklin’s actual birthday is March 25. The festivities will begin at 9 p.m.
