Danielle Del Valle/Getty ImagesAri Lennox fans, rejoice. The buzzed-about singer’s debut album, Shea Butter Baby, is set to arrive as early as the first week of May.

“Album drops first week of May,” Lennox tweeted, leaving room for much speculation as to other details regarding the CD.

It has yet to be determined if the debut from the DMV native — that’s the metro Washington, D.C. area — will include her string of 2018 releases such as “No One,” “Grampa,” and “Whipped Cream.” The effort may also potentially feature a duet with fellow R&B crooner Tank, who accepted Lennox’s request for a collaborative track via social media.

The news of Ari’s debut album arrives on the heels of the singer sharing the dates for her first-ever headlining tour.  Lennox is set to embark on the Shea Butter Baby tour next month in Phoenix, which will trek across the U.S. before wrapping in her hometown on June 14.
