In the video, the legendary crooner serves as the entertainment for a private party. Backed by his suave band, Babyface dons all black while putting on a lavish show. “We got something that the world just can’t explain/ It was the one thing that makes it always work out/ It’s cause we got love,” he sings.
“We’ve Got Love.” is the first offering from the singer’s new album, Return of the Tender Lover, due out December 4 via Def Jam Recordings. The eight-song set, which commemorates his breakthrough LP, 1989’s Tender Lover, will be available for pre-order on November 13.
In related news, Babyface is set to be honored with the Legends Award at the Soul Train Awards 2015, taking place this Friday in Las Vegas, and airing on BET on November 29.
