Beyonce Adds New Dates for The Formation World Tour

by

Live Nation EntertainmentFollowing her appearance at last week’s Super Bowl 50, Beyoncé announced a stadium outing for later this year, officially dubbed The Formation World Tour. Now, after selling out several cities, the singer has added more dates due to popular demand.

The singer’s highly-anticipated tour, which already sold nearly one million tickets over the weekend, has added a second show in Chicago for May 28 at Soldier Field, and an additional New York date at Citi Field on June 8.  To accommodate the changes, her U.S run will now wrap June 14 at Detroit’s Ford Field. This is in addition to the second show July 3 at London’s Wembley Stadium, which was announced Tuesday.

Tickets for the newly added U.S. concerts will go on sale on Thursday, February 25 while tickets to London show will be available Tuesday, February 23. Beyhive members and American Express Card Members will have the chance to purchase advance tickets starting today through Sunday, February 21 at 5:00 p.m.

As part of the tour, fans will have the chance to get involved in Beyoncé’s #BeyGOOD initiative, which is helping out the response to the water crisis in Flint, Michigan.
