Keipher McKennie/WireImageBobby Brown has made his first public appearance since his 22-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown was hospitalized. The singer performed at the Soul Food Festival in Los Angeles on Saturday, reports People magazine.
He took a moment to thank his fans for their prayers and support. He told the audience after performing his first song, “I wanna thank all of y’all for coming out tonight, for supporting me and my family.” He added, “Rough times are rough times. Hard times are hard times. I don’t know what the hell I’m going through right now, but I’m giving it to God.”
Bobbi Kristina is Brown’s daughter with the late Whitney Houston. She was found unconscious in her bathtub on January 31 in Georgia. Bobbi Kristina has been unresponsive ever since.
Brown’s wife, Alicia Etheredge-Brown, is pregnant with the couple’s second child. It will be Brown’s sixth child.
