It looks like Beyoncé won’t be appearing in a remake of A Star Is Born.

Despite speculation that she’s already attached for the film, Bradley Cooper tells E! News that its not true. “Just a rumor,” Cooper said at the premiere of his upcoming movie, Joy.

Although Cooper hasn’t spoken with Beyonce, the actor says he’d love to. “But with that said, I would be honored obviously with to work with her in any capacity,” Cooper said.

The film, which will also mark Cooper’s directorial debut, originated in 1937, then was remade in 1954 with Judy Garland and James Mason, and again in 1976 with Kris Kristofferson and Barbra Streisand.

As previously reported, shooting is set to begin in late 2016 or possibly 2017.
