Case is preparing his comeback. On Wednesday, the singer announced the release date for his upcoming album, Heaven’s Door, his first in five years.
After leaving his fans waiting, Case says that he’s worked diligently to get the new albumright. “Heaven’s Door has been my passion project for two years,” the singer says in a statement. “I have poured my heart and soul, melodically, into an album my fans will love and play on repeat.”
While his first single, “Shook Up,” is available on digital retailers now, the R&B veteran’s set won’t arrive until March 31. It’ll serve as the follow-up to 2010’s Here, My Love, which spawned Case’s ballad “Love 2 Love.”
