Chris Brown debuts high on the Billboard 200 chart with his latest album, Royalty.
According to the publication, the singer opened at No. 3 with 184,000 units sold, of which 162,000 are pure album sales. The set, which marks Chris’ eighth consecutive top-10 album, outperformed his last studio effort, X, which peaked at No. 2 and sold 145,000 in its first week.
In addition, Brown’s sales start for Royalty marks his largest sales week since his 2011 album, F.A.M.E., which bowed at No. 1 with 270,000 units sold.
Elsewhere, The Weeknd’s Beauty Behind the Madness slips from #5 to #9, with 72,000 additional units sold.
