Epic RecordsCiara ran into an unfortunate situation with her Australian promo tour.
According to Billboard, a cyclone kept the singer from traveling to New Zealand, for what would have been her first time performing at the Foundary Bar in Christchurch.
“Stuck At The Airport Due To #CycloneMarcia…Flights Into #Cairns and #PapuaNewGuinea Are Cancelled… Looks Like We’re Diverted To Melbourne!! Such A Bummer I Will Be Back VERY SOON With The REAL TOUR! Praying That All Will Be OK With Everyone and Their Families. Love C,” she wrote on Instagram, posting a photo of herself in the airport.
The Australian outing will see her travel to Melbourne and Brisbane before concluding in Sydney at Marquee.
Fans can expect Ciara’s next studio effort, Jackie, to arrive this spring.
