Ciara’s approach to her career: “No dream is too big”

by

ABC/Image Group LACiara made her directing debut with her new video, “Dose,” and the multi-talented entertainer is looking forward to further expanding her career.

“I’ve always been a dreamer, and the more that I get to do, the more I continue to dream big. I want to do it all,” she tells VH1. “I really believe the sky’s the limit. From a business perspective, I just want to keep growing and learning.”

“More than anything, I just want to make sure I continue inspiring the world, having fun in the midst of it all,” she adds. “That’s always the ultimate goal.”

The 33-year-old star is also an actress, appearing in the TV series The Game, as well as in the 2006 film All You’ve Got and the 2011 movie Mama I Want To Sing. Now, she’s looking to add to her acting credits.

“I have some cool things I’m working on that I can’t wait to share,” Ciara says. “So the continuation of my journey is about leveling up. No dream is too big.”

The “Level Up” singer grew up in Atlanta, and last week, she returned to the A-T-L to hold a pep rally in the city streets with marching bands to promote “Dose.”

“It was really fun being in my hometown. There’s something special about the energy there,” she says.

“It took me back to where it all began for me – being this girl growing up in Atlanta,” Ciara continues. “There’s the pep rallies, the culture of the band jamming in the street, my memories as a cheerleader. There are all these cool moments that are particularly special in the South, and it just felt right.”
