ABC/Randy HolmesCommon and John Legend are still basking in their career-defining moment last night. After winning the Oscar for Best Original Song for “Glory,” from the movie Selma, the musicians made sure to keep their coveted trophies close by.
Common posted an Instagram image of himself apparently napping on a sofa, with his golden statuette resting beside his head. “I’m out but my new friend Oscar is up. He’s a cool dude but he doesn’t say too much. Thanks to the @theacademy for the award!” Common writes in the caption.
Meanwhile, Legend gave fans a romantic, backstage snap of himself posing with his wife, Chrissy Teigen, who appears lying down on a bed of red roses. The caption simply reads: “#GLORY #Oscars.” Later on, the happy couple posted a photo of the award in bed with them.
