ABC/Randy HolmesSZA‘s dad is so proud of his Grammy nominated daughter that he took a video selfie showing him listening to her song, “Broken Clocks.”
He professed his love for the track by saying, “Every time I hear this song sweetie, I’m in tears. I love this song by you.”
The singer’s pops went on to say, “I love your whole album. But this is one of my favorite songs. Every time I hear this song I’m in tears.”
He then added, “I gotta stop this. I’m sorry,” before sniffling and wiping away a tear from his eye.
After seeing the video, which was captured by a fan Monday, SZA tweeted on Tuesday, “Really love u daddy. Thank u for loving ME! Forever my favorite warrior.”
