Dallas Convention Center will have a pop-up hospital for Coronavirus Patients

As the COVID-19 cases increase, Gov. Greg Abbott announced Sunday that Kay Bay Convention Center will be the first site in Texas to have a pop-up hospital to treat people ill with the Coronavirus. Using this as one way to help expand the hospital capacity with help from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to prevent and help any future cases of COVID-19.
