Traci Braxton tells TMZ that she’s going on tour.
As previously reported, Traci, along with Tamar Braxton, were both axed from their sister Toni Braxton‘s Braxton Family Tour bill.
In regards to getting booted from Toni’s tour, Traci explains, “I was so excited, but I was so bummed out when they told me I wasn’t gonna be on tour with Toni and Tamar.”
She continues, “It was presented by a [TV] network — I don’t think I can say [which one] it [is] yet — for me to be on my own tour…and I’m excited about that. I’m so excited that I’m going to be on tour by myself.”
“I have that chance to show the world who Traci Renee Braxton is.”
Traci also talks to TMZ about the moment she learned she was no longer going to be a supporting act on Toni’s Braxton Family Tour, but would be getting her own tour instead.
“To tell you the truth, Toni called me. Management came right after it happened. And I was like, ‘Ooooh, OK.'”
“So, it validated what Toni had said to me when my management came to me,” she says.
Tamar and Traci were added to the Braxton Family Tour bill as Toni’s supporting acts.
TMZ states that, as of now, no other artists have been scheduled to replace Tamar and Traci.
The dates for Traci Braxton’s upcoming solo tour are currently unknown, so stay tuned.
