ABC/Randy HolmesAfter revealing the name of his newborn son, Aalam, Sunday on the Grammy Awards, DJ Khaled has shared the first photo of his nine-day-old baby.
In the Instagram photo, his three-year-old son Asahd is in bed watching over his baby brother. Khaled commented, “Brothers! Asahd! And Aalam! Jan 20, 2020 Time 11: 42 pm. AALAM 8 pounds 4 ounces WE THE BEST! MORE LOVE MORE BLESSINGS!”
The proud father performed “Higher” with John Legend in the Nipsey Hussle tribute on the Grammys telecast. The late rapper was featured on the track, which won Best Rap/Sung Performance, earning Khaled his first Grammy.
Khaled lives in Miami, and his schedule is full for Super Bowl Weekend in the Magic City. He’ll spin music on the sidelines before the game Sunday as players from the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs warms up at Hard Rock Stadium. Earlier that day, he’ll kick off an eight-date Hard Rock Hotel residency at the new DAER Nightclub/Dayclub at The Guitar Hotel in Hollywood, FL.
The “Wild Thoughts” rapper will also perform Thursday at the Super Bowl Music Fest at American Airlines Arena, and at this weekend’s inaugural Vewtopia Music Festival at Marlins Park.
