Don’t disrespect me when I’m being nice: Khalid speaks out about fan who groped him

by

ABC/Randy HolmesKhalid is one of the latest celebrities to speak out about sexual harassment.

The “American Teen” artist tweeted on Sunday, “lol I go to talk to a fan and she grabs my a**, how f****** old are we???”

He continued in another tweet, “I love interacting and talking to fans but I also love respecting others so don’t disrespect me when I’m being nice.”

When a fan then asked him what he did after the incident occurred, he simply responded, “I left.”

“sexual assault/harassment happens on both ends and you’re right. It’s unacceptable,” Khalid added in another separate message.

Khalid’s tweets came after his performance alongside rock band Imagine Dragons at the American Music Awards Sunday night.

Both performed a mashup of Khalid’s AMA-nominated track, “Location,” and the Imagine Dragons’ song “Thunder.”
