Drake may have hinted that he is no longer spearheading the long-planned posthumous Aaliyah album, but that hasn’t prevented him from recording another duet with the late singer.
Early Tuesday morning, Drizzy previewed a new song via Instagram that features previously unreleased vocals from Aaliyah. In the brief clip, the rapper sings along to the somber record while riding in his tour bus with his friends. He wrote in the accompanying caption, “24 HOURS ON THIS BUS.”
It’s likely the untitled cut, which marks their second posthumous collaboration following 2012’s “Enough Said,” will serve as one of the five new tracks Drake previously promised fans he would release before the end of the year.
