After hosting the Soul Train Awards, Erykah Badu continues to churn out new material from her upcoming mixtape, But You Cain’t Use My Phone. The singer has debuted another song called “Phone Down,” which seemingly plays on her recent remix to Drake’s “Hotline Bling.”
The track, posted on SoundCloud, finds Badu declaring that she has the sexual prowess to make her man forget about his cell phone.
“PHONE DOWN…official leak this ones for Aubrey… from forthcoming MIXTAPE : BUT YOU CAINT USE MY PHONE,” she wrote on Twitter.
The singer also announced that fans can expect her mixtape, But You Cain’t Use My Phone, to arrive on Thanksgiving weekend, just days before the Soul Train Awards airs on November 29 at 8 p.m ET.
