Faith Evans has announced that she is scheduled to perform for this year’s 23rd annual Divas Simply Singing, which will benefit Sheryl Lee Ralph‘s The DIVA Foundation. The non-profit organization helps raise HIV/AIDS awareness for men, women and children around the world.
The upcoming event will also star fellow R&B Diva Kelly Price as well as Karen Clark Sheard, Kierra Sheard, Karyn White, Jenifer Lewis and Amber Riley, among others. According to the event’s website, TheDivaFoundation.org, concertgoers can expect each diva to perform one song with the sole accompaniment of a concert grand piano.
Divas Simply Singing will take place Saturday October 12, at the Club Nokia L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles. Tickets range from $55 to $85 and they’re are available now.
