Kat MorganBrandy has found it necessary to remind her fans that she’s not pregnant.
The R&B singer, who’s currently reprising her role of Roxie Hart in the long-running musical Chicago on Broadway, posted the blunt denial on Instagram, “Pregnant my a**.”
She continues, “Damn can a b**** just could have been bloated yesterday? I ain’t gon lie, I did look pregnant… but you would think I would have had the Baby by now… lol… so Nah son..”
Some fans have speculated since May that Brandy’s pregnant, when Instagram picture she posted that month showed her with what appeared to be a slightly protruding belly.
Even Brandy’s 15-year old daughter, Syrai, debunked the rumor on social media.
The rumor started to heat up once again in June, when Brandy lost consciousness on a Delta flight at Los Angeles International Airport and was taken to a local hospital.
Her rep later explained that extensive traveling and personal appearances had taken a toll on Brandy’s health.
Several weeks after, Brandy posted an Instagram video of herself enduring an intense boxing workout, writing, “Back in the gym so I can stop looking like I’m pregnant….Lol.”
