“Girl on Fire”: Alicia Keys announces new album and world tour

Live NationAs she prepares to host the Grammy Awards, Alicia Keys plans to make 2020 her year with a new album and world tour.

Monday, Keys revealed her new album, ALICIA, will drop March 20, and Tuesday she announced Alicia — The World Tour.

The 15-time Grammy winner will kick off the tour June 5 in Dublin, Ireland, with the European leg ending on July 20 in Krakow, Poland.

The North American tour begins July 28 in Jacksonville, FL, and will continue through September 22 in Miami. Tour stops will include Atlanta, Boston, Baltimore, Detroit, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York City.

American Express Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public, beginning Wednesday at 10 a.m. local time, until Sunday at 10 p.m. local time, on Alicia’s website.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, January 27 at 9 a.m. local time.

The “Girl on Fire’” singer will perform songs from throughout her 19-year-career, as well as from her new album, which will be her seventh studio release. Alicia’s previous album, Here, was released in 2016.

Keys has so far released three singles from ALICIA: “Show Me Love” featuring Miguel, “Time Machine,” and “Underdog.”  Pre-sales for the album will begin Friday in celebration of Alicia’s 39th birthday on Saturday.

Keys will host the 62nd annual Grammy Awards Sunday at 8 p.m. on CBS.
