Republic RecordsThe Weeknd is feeling the joy of the holidays as he celebrates having the number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100.
His latest release, “Heartless,” is on top of the chart, and “Blinding Lights,” which is featured in the ad campaign for the all-electric Mercedes-Benz 2020 EQC SUV, is number 11.
“Happy holidays,” the Toronto singer commented on Instagram with a photo of the “Heartless” cover and the caption, “’Heartless’ #1 on Billboard Hot 100.”
The track is his fourth number one on the chart, following “The Hills,” “Can’t Feel My Face,” and “Starboy.”
In the “Heartless” video, The Weeknd joins the song’s co-producer, Metro Boomin, for an uninhibited night of partying at the fictitious Heartless Hotel in Vegas.
Look for the “Call Out My Name” singer to make his acting debut in the upcoming Adam Sandler film Uncut Gems, which opens Friday.
