On Tuesday, fellow rapper Ice-T took to Instagram to give an update on Dre’s health status.

“Just talked to the homie @drdre,” the Law & Order SVU star shared. “He’s doing good and hopefully he’ll be home soon.. But let’s keep him in our prayers. For a full recovery.”

Dr. Dre, born Andre Romelle Young, confirmed reports that he had been hospitalized in an Instagram post on January 5.

“Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes. I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team,” the 55-year-old wrote. “I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”

The Beats CEO didn’t elaborate on his condition, but TMZ reported that he is in the Intensive Care Unit at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and doctors are still working diligently to determine the root cause of the brain aneurysm.

An aneurysm is an abnormal bulge in a blood vessel, according to the Mayo Clinic. If an aneurysm ruptures, it can lead to death.
