Janet Jackson Says New Album’s Arriving This Fall

by

After announcing last month that new music and a tour are on the way, Janet Jackson has revealed when we can anticipate the release of her yet-to-be titled album.

PR NewswireAccording to her official website, the singer intends to drop her next offering this fall via a new partnership between her own Rhythm Nation label and BMG. In addition, Janet plans to offer a home to both new and established recording artists.

“Thank you to the talented team at BMG, my new artistic home,” Janet says in a statement. “The opportunity to be creative in music and every form of entertainment has great potential here.”

BMG CEO Hartwig Masuch commented, “Janet is not just a supreme artist, she is a unique cultural force whose work resonates around the world. It is an honor that she has chosen BMG to release her long-awaited new album. We look forward to collaborating with her across every platform.”

Janet’s next album will be her first effort since 2008’s Discipline, which spawned “Feedback” and “Rock with U.”
