Heather Wines/CBSJennifer Hudson has been tapped for VH1’s The Ride, a new documentary series premiering later this month.
The network announced Hudson will join seven other artists for each hour-long show, which is being described as a Behind the Music-type series that lets each entertainer detail their ride to the top of their respective music career. You can expect to hear unfiltered interviews with acts like Snoop Dogg, T.I., Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, and Jessie J, among others.
The Ride is set to premiere Saturday, April 18 at 9 p.m. ET on VH1. Here’s the schedule of who’s featured when:

5/2 — Jennifer Hudson
5/9 — Demi Lovato
5/16 — Snoop Dogg
