Heather Wines/CBSEarlier this month, Jennifer Hudson revealed that she landed a guest role on FOX’s new hit series Empire and now she’s spilling details about what it was like filming alongside Terrence Howard, who plays Lucious Lyon, a hip-hop music mogul, and Taraji P. Henson, who plays his outspoken ex-wife.
“It is the best vibe ever. I think that’s part of the magic in the show, you know. It just has this specialness about it,” J.Hud told Access Hollywood. “I love it. I love the experience of being there and everything.”
Jen continues, “That’s another thing I love about that show is because it gives that platform, that outlet, you know, because there’s not many shows like that.”
Hudson has also contributed to the official soundtrack, which also features Mary J. Blige, Juicy J, Rita Ora, Charles Hamilton and Estelle.
Empire airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
