In an interview with Vibe, the dapper singer explains that becoming a well-groomed man has little to do with clothing and more to do with developing a solid character.
“I don’t think a ‘Classic Man’ has a particular dress. I think you can wear a sanitation worker outfit and be a ‘Classic Man.’ I think you can wear a t-shirt and jeans and be a ‘Classic Man.’ It just depends on your maturity within our crew,” he says.
However if you’re looking to achieve his retro-inspired style, he offers a quick guide. “If you wanted to emulate this, then your starter would definitely include a pocket watch, you have to have the suit, and a flask in the briefcase,” he says.
