ABC/Randy Holmes John Legend and Chrissy Teigen seem to embody #RelationshipGoals, so much so that the pair have inspired a new comedy series called Ordinary People, for which ABC has ordered a pilot.
Variety has confirmed that the show, which is named after Legend’s huge 2009 single, will follow “an interracial couple with different personalities and big plans for the future.” Legend and Teigen will serve as executive producers for the series, which will be filmed single-camera style.
ABC Studios will co-produce with Legendary Television, which has a partnership with Legend’s Get Lifted Film Company. In addition, black-ish creator Kenya Barris will serve as exec producer while Survivor’s Remorse scribe Tracy Oliver will pen the script.
