Johnny Gill is set to deliver his long-awaited eighth studio album, Game Changer II, come this fall.
Slated to be released on September 6, the effort serves as a sequel to Gill’s 2014 Game Changer project. Dialing in at 11 tracks, Game Changer II is led by the chart-topping single “Soul of a Woman,” followed by the reggae-tinged love ballad “Only One” and the high-energy track “Favorite Girl.”
In addition, Gill pays tribute to one of his biggest musical inspirations, Luther Vandross, on the standout cut “That’s My Baby.” Fans can also expect to hear contributions from Carlos Santana and Sheila E.
