While the status of her marriage to estranged husband Daniel Gibson remains unclear, Keyshia Cole obviously is making progress with her follow-up to her latest album, Woman to Woman.
The singer is treating fans to a series of song teasers from her upcoming sixth disc, including a sequel to her hit song “I Remember,” lifted from her 2007 effort, Just Like You.
In the brief clip, Cole appears somber with her hat low as she sings along to the ballad. “#RememberPart2#NewAlbumComingSoon. #DontYouRemember #EveryThingYouToldMe #EverythingYouSaidWe‘dBe,” she wrote the accompanying caption.
She also posted a mid-tempo tune about a broken relationship. “Just a Lil taste of what’s to come,” she wrote, adding the hashtag “#AfterAllTheSh**UPutMeThru.“
Before releasing her highly anticipated album, KC has promised to drop her yet-to-be-titled mixtape, which will include contributions from Future, Wale, Trey Songz, French Montana, August Alsina and Mike WiLL Made It. The set will feature new renditions of J. Cole and Miguel’s “Power Trip” and Drake and Jhené Aiko’s “From Time.”
