Christian Lantry courtesy of RCA InspirationKirk Franklin has hit the road. The singer announced that he’s embarked on his new outing, officially dubbed the 20 Years in One Night Tour.

The gospel star is scheduled to play Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium tonight, March 29 and then travel to major cities including Chicago, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Dallas and more before wrapping up April 16 at Oakland’s Paramount Theatre. A second leg of the tour will begin on June 3 in Augusta, Georgia at The James Brown Arena and visit 12 additional cities this summer.

The trek was designed to celebrate his 20-plus year career and various accomplishments. Kirk recently told ABC Radio what’s been the key to his longevity.

“Man, just God’s grace. It ain’t because I’m the dopest or because I got this or I got that, man. I promise you that everything that I’ve been blessed to do is because the Lord has been kind enough for me to be able to try to chase him,” he says. “I really want to be a sincere man about my faith, I want to be a sincere man about my walk before him, I just pray that that comes out musically and if there’s any longevity, I hope that it’s more of a longevity to my life before him that maybe displayed in the music.”

Tickets for 20 Years in One Night Tour summer dates will be available via Ticketmaster beginning April, 1, 2016.
