Nearly a week after the sudden and tragic loss of NBA great Kobe Bryant, who died, along with is 13-year old daughter and 7 others in a helicopter crash, his sisters have broken their silence, saying, “We’re devastated.”
Sharia Washington and Shaya Tabb released an emotional statement to NewsOne on Friday:
“On behalf of our family, we join Vanessa, Natalia, Bianka and Capri in grieving the loss of Kobe and Gianna in such a tragic accident. We are devastated by the loss of our brother, son, our niece and granddaughter, and our hearts go out to all the families who lost their loved ones on Sunday. Our lives are forever changed,” the sisters said in a statement to NewsOne on Friday. “Thank you for your prayers, the numerous calls, texts, emails and cards.”
Earlier in the week Lakers legend Jerry West gave an emotional interview to EXTRA saying that Kobe’s parents are “traumatized“ by the untimely death of their son.
