Verve Label GroupLedisi is back and feeling good with her brand new single, “High.”
The song, which was written by Prince Charlez, features horns and the singer’s soaring vocals, as she gives her testimony about being over “all the hard times” she’s been through in the past and worries about fake people.
The R&B vocalist’s eighth studio album is scheduled to be released this fall. Her last album, The Truth, was released in 2014.
In addition, Ledisi is joining Maxwell for 18 dates on his highly anticipated blackSUMMERS’night tour, which kicks off in Nashville on May 23.
