Her latest visual is the second installment of the three-part mini-movie series which goes along with her third studio album, Back 2 Life. It picks up from where fans last saw LeToya: calling it quits with her fictional flame, played by actor Thomas Q. Jones.
In the new clip, LeToya finds herself rebuffing the advances of her ex, who wants a second chance.
In an official statement, LeToya says that “Used To” is one of her favorite records to date, thanks to its “confident ‘in your face’ lyrics.”
She adds, “There’s nothing more attractive than a woman who’s humble, but who knows what she can bring to the table. It shows the ‘bounce back’ from the disappointment of a relationship gone wrong, but it also showcases the vulnerability of a woman who allowed herself to love.”
