Persona PRWhen Luke James did a strip tease in the Issa Rae/Regina Hall film, his female fans demanded to see more — and Luke is happy to give it to them when he performs in concert. On Thursday, he announced an eight-city tour that kicks off in January.
The tour comes in support of Luke’s upcoming album love/d, and will kick off January 29 in Philadelphia. The trek will stop in Atlanta, New Orleans, Washington, D.C. New Orleans, Chicago and San Francisco, before wrapping up in L.A. on February 16.
The two-time Grammy nominee gave fans a preview of his sexy stage moves on the Soul Train Awards in November. The “I Want You” singer says it was very special for him to perform his latest singles “All Your Love” and “Go Girl”– which features BJ the Chicago Kid and Ro James — on the awards show.
“What better way of doing it than on Soul Train and with my brothers in music. I just had to have a good time,” Luke tells ABC Audio.
During the show, he gave a titillating performance in red silk pajamas, and told ABC Audio he did it in reaction to his scene in Little.
“Since I did the movie…I’ve been asked about all the gyrations, so I just felt the need to gyrate for the gyrators out there,” he says.
Luke’s new album to feel love/d — featuring “All Your Love” and “Go Girl” — will be released January 31.
