Mariah Carey is showing signs of progress with her oft-delayed album, The Art of Letting Go. Following recent announcements last week — signing with Jermaine Dupri as her new manager and posting a personal letter regarding her injury recovery, the legendary singer revealed the released date for her next single.
According to an announcement via Mariah’s Facebook page, fans can anticipate the singer to unleash her album’s title-track on November 11.
“This song is so personal to me and I’m very excited to share this experience with you in such an intimate way,” she wrote. “I can’t even know what to say!!! We’re less than a month away and I can’t wait to answer all your questions and share this experience with you.”
“The Art of Letting Go” serves as the follow-up to the Miguel-assisted hit “#Beautiful,” which peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100.
There is no release date for her fourteenth studio album. So far, Mimi has logged studio time with Nas, Wale, Rodney Jerkins, Hit-Boy, Mike WiLL Made-It, and Jermaine Dupri for her first album since 2009′s Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.
