On Wednesday’s The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Ellen asked Mariah how she’s doing post-breakup and she replied, “I think I’m doing well,” adding, “Everything happens for a reason. Things are the way they are.”
The singer also addressed rumors that James did not want to be featured in her upcoming docu-series Mariah’s World. “Allegedly,” she says of those reports. “It’s kind of difficult to talk about at this moment.”
Then she quickly changed the subject and began admiring Ellen’s Christmas decorations.
Mariah’s World premieres December 4 on E!.
