Image Courtesy Peter Kramer/NBCMary J. Blige is ready to move on. The singer has put her lavish New Jersey mansion on the market for $13 million, according to NJ.com.
The singer and her husband/manager Kendu Isaacs bought the 18,250-square-foot French-inspired estate in 2008, reportedly for $12.3 million cash, a significant discount as the home was originally listed for $17 million. This is her second attempt at selling the sprawling property — she had the home on the market in 2011 for $13.9 million, but it didn’t sell.
Mary’s 8-bedroom, 8-bath home sits on more than four acres in Saddle River and features two separate dining rooms, gourmet kitchen with double islands, an elevator, library, wine cellar, theater room, home gym, a steam room, a sauna, a pool and pool house and a master bedroom with his and her bathrooms, closets and an espresso station.
In related news, Blige is preparing to play the Wicked Witch of the West in NBC’s live production of The Wiz! this December.
