The singer posted a photo on Instagram of son Cameron Lincoln with Cotter. “Forever in Love. ?? Our Son, Cameron Lincoln was born on March 14th 2016,” Fiona writes in the caption. “Life has greater purpose than ever before… There is only Now. I am a Mother. What a great honour, What a miraculous gift.
Melanie goes on: “I am so thankful for this Love in my life. Surrounded by Kings…I will cherish you always. Thank YOU all so much for the love and support you have shown Jared and I throughout our journey to parenthood. We are ready… We are #Awake xo.”
Back in November, Melanie announced she was expecting in the video for “I Want It All,” lifted from her upcoming third album, Awake, due out later this year. The album will also include the singles “Bite the Bullet” and “I Tried.”
