Live Nation/Park MGM Miss Jackson, if you’re lucky: Janet Jackson is joining the long list of veteran performers who’ve landed their own Las Vegas residencies.
The icon’s show Metamorphosis will kick off Friday May 17 at Park Theater at Park MGM resort in Sin City. The show is described as journey through “the immensely private life” of Janet Jackson, as she shares her, “transformation from a young girl with self-esteem issues to global icon.”
Through the show, she’ll share her path to empowerment, motherhood and activism, and, “encourage audiences to find their own light within themselves.”
Metamorphosis will feature all her hits, deep cuts, “explosive” dance numbers, “electrifying” visuals and more — as well a a special 30-year anniversary celebration of her global smash album Rhythm Nation.
Pre-sales for members of Janet’s fan club start February 27 at 10 a.m. PST; there are a variety of other pre-sales for Citi cardmembers, M Life loyalty members, and Ticketmaster and Live Nation customers. Everyone else can start buying tickets on March 2 at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster.
Janet’s first batch of dates includes shows in May, July and August; notably, she’s not performing in June, the month which marks the 10th anniversary of the death of her brother Michael Jackson.

May 2019: 17, 18, 21, 22, 25, 26
July 2019: 24, 26, 27, 31
August 2019: 2, 3, 7, 9, 10
